Call for Alumni Volunteers This Fall!

Senior BBQ Event Volunteers

To kick off their last year of college, the Class of 2015 is having a BBQ on Thursday, October 2 from 6:00-9:00 pm at The Backyard (sand volleyball courts by the Rec Center and Sheil Hall).

We need some alumni volunteers to come back and share their experiences with the Seniors through a fun and interactive game!

Each Senior attending the BBQ will get a Bingo sheet full of questions, and they will have to walk around and talk with the alumni to find out the answers. Once the Seniors fill their cards, they will have an opportunity to spin a prize wheel!

If you are able to come back and celebrate (and enjoy delicious food!) with the Class of 2015 at the Senior BBQ, it would be greatly appreciated!

ICE Class Alumni Day

ICE Class is designed to assist new students by providing information and skills essential for a successful college experience. This year, we are adding an alumni component to ICE where we are having alumni come back to the last class of the semester and host a jeopardy-style game. The reason we’re doing this is to get the ICE students thinking about continuing on for the next 3 ½ years at Lewis and becoming alumni and to get alumni to reconnect with the University and the students.
The jeopardy game would already be created…all you would have to do is facilitate the game and have fun with the class! These are the ICE Classes that need a volunteer:
  • Tuesday, November 18 from 8:00-8:50 am for Fred Gandy
  • Tuesday, November 18 from 2:00-2:50 pm for James Tallon
  • Thursday, December 4 from 9:30-10:20 am for Randi Jackson
  • Thursday, December 4 from 2:00-2:50 pm for Denise Rich
